About Larry Davidson, M.D., FAANS

Primary partner Larry Davidson, M.D., FAANS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon with over 30 years’ experience treating back and neck conditions, disc degeneration, spinal tumors and more.

He pairs a passion for improving people’s lives with the latest advancements in minimally invasive procedures — and the reduced complications and simplified recovery that comes with them.

Born and raised in Hickory, North Carolina, Davidson received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and attended the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. He completed his neurosurgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and a fellowship in complex spinal surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. Davidson is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), Florence County Medical Society and South Carolina Medical Association.

He has been married to his wife Sandra for 39 years. The couple has two adult daughters, Anna and Emily.
